I'm not sure if I heard correctly but; does this one have more notes than the normal WPN double on the site?

Actually it has 2 less.  The compact double doesn't go down to low b and a.
It's nice to be important but it is more important to be nice.

and still Jack tries to pretend that he isn't really a ocarina player and that he have sparesome knowledge about music...  ;D
But at the same moment, he knows all about any oc around here! :p

The secret isn't knowing the answer but knowing where to find it   :P

How sturdy is this instrument? If I wanted to take it hiking, would I need a sturdy container with padding? The 2 bottom holes seem a waste of time since both those notes are duplicated in the soprano section of the oc.

This is a clever design though. I heard it played on youtube and it sounds fantastic. You could use four hole pendant tabs for it but would need a way to mark whether you are using the inner or outer set of holes. Maybe arrows at the bottom, one pointing out for the outer 4, pointing in for the inner 4?

It's a ceramic instrument, so I would recommend getting a nice case, like a small gun case, to put it in.

The chamber overlap on this ocarina isn't found in many doubles, but is highly desirable. This keeps the player from having to switch chambers on a fast moving passage.

As far as tabs go, I think I could get you tabs, if you needed them. I know a guy. ;)
