I would certainly buy a multichamber Bass ocarina like this if it were available in a less expensive double-ocarina form, but as it is, I don't think that I will be able to own this ocarina. :( I love the straw decoration on the ocarina in this photo, though. It's very striking.
Is there a comparison photo which demonstrates the size difference between this ocarina and the purple clay Tenor C triple?

I will try to get a photo showing both ocarinas.

I think the bass triple is twice as big as the tenor triple.

Yeah, I agree, a bass double would be great.  I don't tend to play triples too much as I am satisfied with what doubles can do.

Really?I am the complete opposite,I always tend to push the range of my tenor triple and always want to go higher(Or lower).I ithink that the quadruple tenor and the triple bass are my favourite ocarinas(even though I dont have them).

I am still curious about this though. Why does the bass triple have no subholes? Is it because if it had subholes it is so large that you wouldent be able to use them?Im not sure. But still the bass triple is AWESOME!  -Desmond

Nyeergh, I REALLY want this oc. but the price...  :o :'(

with a regular triple and a bass triple I would be all set for almost any performance. Of course, that won't quench my hunger for different types of ocarinas. I also want one of them compact doubles. Since my first oc was a pendant, i'm sure a compact double would be amazing.

PS. Will the public be able to get a sound sample of this baby? A scale would do me good. Or even a video, even BETTER.

Anyone have the MaxRange Triple Bass Ocarina?? I noticed the description says it has a larger range than even the Quad OC. I'd love to see a review on it.

Cris has one.  She's been playing it a bit lately - becoming familiar with it.  I haven't heard her take it to its highest notes, but what I've heard so far sounds pretty nice.  As she's become more familiar with it, it has started to sound much better.

Well maybe I'll get lucky and she'll make a review video for it.

She's planning one, but it will be a little while.  It takes a bit more time to become familiar with a mutli-chambered ocarina.

I got this ocarina for Christmas! It has a wonderful deep textured sound. I can only practice for so long before I have to rest my thumbs due to the weight of it. Mine does have a place for a neck strap but on the other end of the ocarina...I don't use straps though. I play on my bed.
The only thing that disappoints me is that there is no straw fire markings on mine like it shows in all the straw fire ocarina photos. Not one on mine.

I've got it, it's range is amazing really. I still haven't mastered the fingerings yet.
