I don't even know what this is called
« on: December 30, 2012, 03:22:26 PM »
So, the other day i was trying to play some songs on my 12 hole ocarina (namely "stone tower temple" and "legendary hero") and i came across these three notes that are played incredibly quickly. they sound fine on the pan flute (legendary hero) and the whatever the other insterment is from stone tower temple, but i can't get it to sound right on the ocarina. can someone help me?

Were you reading sheetmusic? If so, can you link us to it, please? Would it be a triplet?  If it is, try playing the notes as'trip-ul-et'

I see hear what your talking about now. That is a trill. As for technique, don't tongue that series of notes. Just flutter your finger over the hole. That's not the best way to describe it, but that's all I've got.

That'd be a trill.
Go ahead and play your music. You never know, you just might make someones day.
And now for something completely off base, Kirby Dance!
